Number of Decks: 1 (52 cards)

Layout: At the beginning you will see the deck in the upper left corner, the four foundations to the right of the deck, and below them there are the seven columns of the tableau. The first contains one card, the second two, the third three and so on. Top cards are face-up, all the rest are face-down. The deck is formed by 24 cards, which are face-down too.

The top card of waste (next to stock) is available for play on the foundations or tableau.

Object: The goal of the game is to use all the cards to complete the four suit foundations, moving Aces as they appear. You have to build up each one in suit from Ace to King (A-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-J-Q-K).

Play: As the game begins, Klondike Solitaire deals twenty-eight cards from the deck into the tableau. You have to move all the cards face up from the stock to the 4 suit foundations. Each one foundation should be built upward, in sequence from Ace to King. You are allowed to put to an empty foundation only Aces. Then you should add there only the following higher card, and only of the same suit.

Face-up cards within the tableau should be build in descending sequence of alternating colors. For instance, if there is 6 of red suit, you can put on it only 5 of black suit. You can put to foundation the lowest card of a sequence, as well as put a sequence of cards as a unit from one pile to another.

The uncovered face-down card becomes available to turn it face-up as soon as the face-up cards in a column are exposed. You can put to an empty column, if such appears, only a King.

When the stock becomes empty it can be recycled from the waste pile. The game will end in two cases: a) no more moves left, or the only possible move will recycle the stock - so you've lost; b) all foundations are filled - and you've won!
